Rara Lake is one of the most isolated and truly beautiful lakes located in the far western region of Nepal. The Rara lake trek can be done in two weeks or can also be combined with the Dolpo trek, which makes the trip 3+ weeks. The trek starts from Jumla by flying from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj & then to Jumla. Jumla is famous for organic apple gardens. RARA Lake is located at an altitude of 3000 meters or 9842 Feets. The RARA Lake is the deepest Lake in Nepal, with a depth of 167 m. The blue water of RARA Lake freshens your mind and body purely. RARA lake trek offers to see the beautiful culture of (Sinja Valley), far western Nepal, Himalaya views, and flora and fauna. The trek is not too challenging, so that people of all ages can do it without a special fitness level. The RARA lake trek trail is very scenic, and the landscape changes almost every day.
