Mr. Sau Bir Rai, known as Samir, obtained his trekking guide license from the Ministry of Culture and Civil Aviation in 2008, indicating he has been in the tourism and trekking sector for the past 17 years. He has been a very important part of Adventure Glacier Treks and Expedition for more than 10 years. Mr Sau Bir, as a person, is very helpful, always smiling, and has very good knowledge of culture, heritage, and mountains.
Mr Rai is a well-trained guide with proper knowledge of high-altitude conditions and local communities. As a local from the Everest Region, he has that plus point and is very familiar with the Himalayas. He has also participated in a sustainable development program and an eco-tourism awareness program organized by the Nepal Tourism Board. Lastly, he is a very good singer; don't forget to listen to his melodic song.
