Against the majestic backdrop of the Ganesh and Sringi Himals, this serene and secreted Himalayan valley is rich in antique art, society and religion.
The trekking trails of Tsum Valley are scattered with Buddhist chortens and wrinkled with mani walls made by thousands of stone slabs fixed with drawings of deity and inscribed with prayers. The very famous Kyimo Lung, a pilgrimage route in the middle Trans-Himalaya, traverses The Tsum Valley, the Manaslu area and southern parts of Tibet. Tsum is measured. One of the valleys chosen by the 8th Century Tantric master and founder of Himalayan Buddhism Padmasambhava as a blessed refuge for Buddhists
