Trip Itinerary
A representative from Adventure Glacier Treks will meet you at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu. And you will be transferred to a hotel, where you will be briefed on the essential procedures, the hiking route, and your permission. Depending on your arrival time, you can spend your free time exploring surrounding temples or relaxing.
Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tour bus. Usually, "tourist" buses depart from Kathmandu at 7:00 a.m. and take 6-7 hours depending on road conditions. After arriving at the hotel, take a break if you're tired or go for a walk around the Lakeside or maybe paddle some of the lakes. Overnight at the hotel
After breakfast, we will go by car or jeep to Dhampus Phedi, which will take around 1.5 hours. We'll be hiking from Dhampus Phedi to the Australian camp. We'll climb along the forest path after passing through the lovely Dhampus village and up the staircase. It will take about two hours to reach Australian Camp.
On a clear day, we can see an unobstructed view of the Himalayan Mountains of the Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre range, and Manaslu range, as well as beautiful green hills, while watching a beautiful sunrise and eating breakfast. After breakfast, we will travel to Kande, which has beautiful green hills, mountains, and forests. Then we'll drive to Pokhara from Kande.
For today, we'll go sightseeing in Pokhara, which is known for Phewa Lake, so we'll go boating in Phewa Lake and visit Tal Barahi Mandir, which is located in the middle of Phewa Lake. Then we'll go to the World Peace Stupa (Shanti Stupa shrine), which was built as a peace symbol. Anadu Hill is 1100 meters above sea level. The Peace Stupa offers a stunning view of Phewa Lake, the mountain range, and Pokhara Valley. The monument's picturesque beauty is quite captivating, and its tranquil vibe is worth a visit for those seeking it. We will also go to Davis Waterfalls, which are unique in the country due to their natural beauty. It denotes the point at which the Pardi Khola stream disappears underground, leaving no trace of its existence. We'll also go to Bat Cave, also known as "Chamero Gufa" in Nepali. Bats can be found living on the cave's ceiling and walls.
Today we will return to Kathmandu by tourist bus around 7 o'clock.
