Dil Sapkota organised a wonderful trip for my partner and I. We discovered his company and tour services by booking an apartment in his building for our stay in Kathmandu on Airbnb and are delighted to have done so. The top floor apartment has spectacular views. The traditional hand carved doors and lovely. Dil was there to welcome us. His office is only a short walk from the apartment building and he kindly accompanied us there. He took time and care to introduce us to Nepali culture and history before going through our trip plan. His son and daughter also work in the office and were present. He has run his small company for 20 years. He has also trekked all the 5000 metre passes himself. We have just arrived back in Pokhara after our 7-day trek (Poon hill) with the excellent guide and porter team Arjun and Ram. The best word to describe our experience is simply magical. Arjun has a wonderful ability to share his expert knowledge about Nepali culture, the landscape and nature by encouraging an ongoing dialogue throughout the trip. Ram was kind and attentive and always ready for a joke or a song ! The complicity, fun, good humour and kindness of these two people made our trek into a delightful adventure. Arjun led and managed our small group with the utmost care and respect for our health and our walking pace. He is a real people person and always managed to find the best room, the most enjoyable experiences, adapted to our travel style. This is a top class company with people who love what they do and know how to adapt to the customer. 100% recommended! See you next time in Nepal ! ;-)
My girlfriend and I (in the mid-thirties) did the Annapurna circuit in 15 days. For this trekking we used the outstanding service from Adventure Glacier Treks & Expeditions and their awesome Guide Roshan. We had a very good feeling from the first contact with the friendly and service-oriented owner of the agency, Dil Sapkota. On all our questions we got a quick response along of a lot of expertise. This helped us to improve our plans and to be sure that we found our agency. Care was taken on permits, transfers (bus and plane) and accommodations (the owner also has a lovely AirBnB close to the tourist bus station in Thamel). All was perfectly organized such that we had no worries during our trip which was very helpful. The agency chooses Roshan as our Guide which was a perfect match. He is a super friendly, carrying and funny person. He always provides a perfect service, helps whenever help was needed and gave us great insights in the culture, in the people and the country. He was also very flexible and responsive to our wishes (e.g., trekking route). We had a great time on the treks and during the time off the paths. For our purposes the perfect guide who became a friend from day one. We would like to thank you, Dil and Roshan so much to ensure that we had three phenomenal weeks in the fascinating Nepal. Adventure Glacier Treks & Expedition is a great and serious company. We were looking for a guide to accompany us on the Langtang trek. Dil and his company provided us with a very friendly and courteous guide and helped us to optimize the trekking route. All our wishes were also met. After our trekking tour, Dil and his team planned a stay in Chitwan National Park and a program package that included jeep safari, elephant riding and crocodile safari in the enclosure. Everything went to our complete satisfaction! We can highly recommend Adventure Glacier Treks to everyone.
I have booked the 14-day Everest Tour. My experience with the company has been extremely positive.From the first moment of contact to the last step of the tour, everything went very harmoniously and perfectly. The price-performance ratio is extremely fair and the guide was extraordinarily professional, even in precarious situations, which certainly occur in the monsoon season, he always had advice and always had the opportunity to go a different way. And yes, we were very lucky to see the mountains of the Himalayas and Mount Everest almost without clouds during the monsoon season. Terrific!
Je ne peux que recommander cette agence ! Trés réactif dés ma demande par mail, Dil le gérant de l'agence a adapté le circuit a mes dates, mes désirs... Le trek m'a comblé! Les guide et porteur étaient tous les deux trés sympas, les guests houses , et hotels choisies avec gout et que dire du paysage!! J'en ai encore plein les yeux!! Le rapport qualité/ prix est excellent, le sérieux tant avant le trek , que pendant l'est aussi , avec un soucis du bien etre a chaque moment de la journée. Je retourne au Nepal en Novembre , c'est certain, je repars avec adventure glacier pour une nouvelle aventure!!!
